About this wine

A Monolith is one of most distinct creations. Imposing, with a structure created though millenia, but at the same time possessing a structure that invites a craftsman to work on it, dedicating centuries to come. This is why we created the Monolith range of wines. Because, in Ktima Bairaktaris, we do not craft ordinary wines. We express our philosophy and our devotion to the ancient, imposing Greek varieties.

Tasting notes

Pale yellow-gold colour with a bunch of exotic fragrances and sweet tropical fruits like mango, banana and pineapple. Round body with the aromas of the mouth follow those of the nose.

Vineyard: Mountainous Corinth, at 850–950m elevation

Vine Age: 30 years

Vinification: Cold stabilization at 5°C, brief cold maceration, with bâtonnage at the end of fermentation

Aging: Stainless steel maturation with lees contact
