About this wine

A Monolith is one of most distinct creations. Imposing, with a structure created though millenia, but at the same time possessing a structure that invites a craftsman to work on it, dedicating centuries to come. This is why we created the Monolith range of wines. Because, in Ktima Bairaktaris, we do not craft ordinary wines. We express our philosophy and our devotion to the ancient, imposing Greek varieties

Tasting notes

Wine with attractive and extraordinary pale peach colour with elegant aromas of cherry, sour cherry and pomegranate. Distinctive round tannins from Agiorgitiko and particular acidity from Assyrtiko that give us a prolonged aftertaste.

Vinification: Early harvest with 3-hour cold maceration; free-run juice fermented at 14–16°C

Aging: 3 months on fine lees in stainless steel
